WebBot Enhancements

Some users reported concerns about hallucinations and unreliable sources in our WebBot responses. We’ve tackled this head-on! Our Perplexity responses have undergone a significant upgrade, now featuring a secondary pass system that dramatically improves trustworthiness and accuracy.

We’re also excited to introduce WebBot Cohere, a brand-new offering that provides another high-quality option for incorporating real-time knowledge through internet searches. These enhancements mean you’ll have access to more reliable and diverse information at your fingertips.

Knowledge Upload Advancements

We heard your frustrations about document upload issues and parsing errors. In response, we’ve made substantial strides in our knowledge upload system. Our parsing capabilities have been enhanced with new techniques to handle special characters and encryptions in document sources. We’ve upgraded to GPT-4V for improved image recognition and parsing, and implemented an enhanced text embedding model. These improvements, coupled with our significantly scaled document upload services, mean you’ll enjoy faster, more reliable uploads with timely feedback – typically within minutes, depending on the size and content of your upload.

Infrastructure Improvements

Platform slowdowns and occasional outages have been a concern for some users. We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes to address these issues. We’re developing a robust failover system to ensure continuous service, even in the face of potential third-party API instabilities. We’ve also enhanced our ability to handle larger prompts and responses, and made WebSocket improvements to reduce dropped prompts and failed responses. These upgrades translate to a smoother, more reliable experience for you.
