Health Care Algorithms

Researchers at Mayo Clinic have developed several AI use cases. Notably, they’ve created an algorithm to identify heart pump problems from 12-lead echocardiogram readings, which was previously only detectable through stress tests. Additionally, they’ve pioneered a new class of AI called hypothesis-driven AI, which aims to improve interpretability of AI algorithms for health care treatments, especially in cancer research.
