AI in Academia: A Structured Approach to Embedding Generative Technologies in Higher Education

Teaching and learning with AI Conference: Generative AI (GenAI) has become an integral part of various industries, and education is no exception. This proposal is focused on exploring the usage of generative AI for professors to enhance their courses. The presentation will showcase systematic steps which include gaining a foundational knowledge of generative AI, using prompt engineering, policy development, course design, student engagement, and learning support while leveraging its capabilities ethically and productively.
