About BoodleBox

BoodleBox is a VC-backed GenAI platform built for higher education. With 100,000+ users across 1,200+ colleges and universities, we partner with faculty, staff, and students to make responsible AI adoption practical, impactful, and lasting. Our platform brings together leading AI tools — including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity — under one roof, purpose-built for the unique demands of academic environments. We’re guided by three core values: service, education, and collaboration.

‍

The Role

You’re the person a trial lawyer wants in the room when someone asks whether the AI can really do this. You run the demo, answer the security question nobody saw coming, and you’re still there three months later when the firm is using it without you. Law firms don’t buy AI on a pitch deck. They buy it when they see their own workflows, their own documents, and their own security requirements handled cleanly.

BoodleBox is the platform that powered Mark Lanier’s trial team, turning partner expertise into 200+ custom bots and courtroom-grade AI workflows into something other firms can adopt. We now work with 46 law firms, and law firm accounts have expanded 210%. After the Lanier Meta trial, revenue grew from about $100K a month to about $300K a month in 90 days. You’re the person who makes the next firm look like that.

You sit at the center of every Law deal, between sales, product, and the firms using BoodleBox to win cases. You report to our CEO, you have a direct line into the product roadmap, and you build the technical playbook for an entire vertical from the ground up. This role is fully remote, with a company hub in Colorado Springs, CO.

‍

What You’ll Own

  • Technical credibility in every Law deal. You run discovery and live demos for trial lawyers and firm IT and security teams, and every “can it do X” gets a confident answer.
  • Security, data, and integration answers. SSO, data residency, document ingestion, and MCP connectors get resolved through procurement and legal review, with you holding the pen.
  • New firms going live. You own configuration, custom bot setup, and training for partners and staff, and you decide when an account is ready.
  • Adoption beyond the first champion. You run firm-wide rollout and usage reviews until one believer becomes the whole firm’s habit.
  • Expansion signals that reach the right people. More seats, more practice groups, more services: you spot them and hand qualified signals to Legal GTM.
  • The voice of the firm in product. Connector requests and feature gaps go from the firms to Product and Engineering with your fingerprints on the priority.
  • The Law playbook. Demo scripts, security FAQs, and onboarding checklists are yours, and you keep them current so the next firm goes faster than the last.

‍

Who You Are

  • You’ve turned a skeptic into a champion. You can name the room, the objection, and the moment it changed.
  • You answer security questions live. When IT asks about data residency in the middle of a demo, you don’t say “we’ll circle back.”
  • You finish implementations. Multiple stakeholders, shifting dates, and a go-live that still lands. You see what’s about to slip before it does.
  • You’ve built something with AI. A workflow, a bot, a system that real people use. You can tell us where it breaks.
  • You wear every hat. Sales engineer, trainer, project manager, and account manager in the same week. Low ego, high ownership.
  • You talk to lawyers and IT in the same afternoon. You write and speak clearly enough that both leave knowing what happens next.
  • You stay after go-live. You’d rather see the firm using it in month six than close the ticket in week one.
  • You’re curious about how litigators work. Law firm or legal tech experience helps. Real interest in trial prep helps more.

‍

We’re Not Checking Boxes. We’re Looking for the Real Thing.

Didn’t come up through a traditional path? Good. Tell us about it.

No big-name legal tech or enterprise SaaS logo on your resume? We’ve hired people who outperformed everyone who did.

Career gap? Weird pivot? Started somewhere completely left field? Bring it. The people who got here the strange way usually have the best instincts.

What we actually want to see: someone who wins over a skeptical room and then sticks around to make it stick, without thinking about it. If that’s you, the path you took to get here is just a good story.

‍

Who Thrives Here

Everyone at BoodleBox owns something. Some areas are yours to run, some you approve, and on the rest you give input on what it does upstream and downstream. You’ll have real authority over how the Law vertical works, and you’ll be expected to use it. If you need someone to hand you the next task, this isn’t the place. If you like owning the outcome, it is.

We’re builders who use AI every day and have opinions about it. We’re curious, we ship, and we care about service, education, and collaboration. We’re a small team building something that doesn’t exist yet, and we’d rather you tell us what’s broken than work around it.

‍

What We Offer

  • Base salary of $120,000–$140,000, plus variable pay as part of your OTE
  • Company equity (option grant, standard vesting)
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage (BoodleBox covers 75% of premiums)
  • 401(k)
  • Fully remote work environment, with travel to client sites, CLEs, and legal industry events
  • Real career growth opportunity inside a high-growth, mission-driven company
  • Offsites 1–2 times a year

‍

How to Apply

Don’t just send a resume. Send an email to careers@boodle.ai with the subject line: LAW SE/CSM — I ship and I stick around.

Include:

  • Your LinkedIn profile
  • Tell us why you’re the wrong hire. Career gap, weird pivot, missing credential, whatever it is. Then tell us why we should do it anyway. The best person for this role probably doesn’t look like it yet.
  • A short note on a technical demo or implementation that turned a skeptical stakeholder into a champion.
  • One onboarding doc, demo script, or playbook you built that others still use (link or attach). Bonus points if you built it with AI.
