Help build the collaborative intelligence layer for trial teams.
BoodleBox is the collaborative AI workspace for teaching, learning, and work — providing more than 120,000 educators, students, and professionals across 1,300+ schools and enterprises with private, secure, and affordable access to every major AI model. From classrooms to companies, BoodleBox enables teams to build collaborative intelligence.
We built BoodleBox from day one for human–AI collaboration — the layer that wraps human judgment around AI rather than replacing it. That foundation, proven in education, is now powering expansion into the workplaces education prepares people for: 130+ workteams already rely on BoodleBox beyond higher ed, from law firms to financial services to the military. This role helps lead that expansion into the trial bar — the legal vertical we're building from the ground up.
Our north star: keeping intelligence human. Learn more at boodlebox.ai.
As a Lawyer in Residence, you are our credibility, our compass, and our translator. We're not a tool that generates legal work product — we're the layer that wraps human judgment around AI, and your job is to prove that out with real litigation teams.
You'll work directly with trial firms as design partners: discovering where collaborative AI genuinely helps in real litigation work, shaping what we build, and helping other lawyers adopt it well. This is a discovery role, not a quota-carrying sales job — you're measured by how fast we learn and how well trial teams adopt, not by bookings.
You advise; you don't manage. You have no authority to bind the Company or direct its people — but your judgment shapes what we build and how we show up to the trial bar.
We typically start with a short, separately scoped design-partner sprint to confirm fit against real work, before expanding into the fuller advisory role described below.
Didn't come out of an AmLaw 100 firm? Never clerked for a judge? Doesn't matter.
What matters is real trial-prep experience, and instincts good enough that other lawyers already trust your judgment in the room. If that's you, how you got there is just a good story.
People who'd rather build a practice than inherit one. This role exists because the collaborative-AI-for-litigation motion doesn't fully exist yet — you're defining it as you go, and that's the draw, not the catch.
Curious, opinionated lawyers who treat AI as a real tool, not a buzzword. If you've already got a workflow, a prompt, or a process you built because you couldn't stop thinking about how AI could help your practice, you'll fit right in.
