BoodleBox is the leading platform for collaborative AI in the college classroom. With BoodleBox, college professors and students can (1) prepare for class (2) teach and learn responsible AI (3) accurately assess assignments. The platform provides affordable access to a variety of top AI models, including GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Gemini 1.5 Pro, LLAMA 3.1, Perplexity, and more.
BoodleBox facilitates collaboration between students and professors by enabling them to collaborate with multiple AI models, classmates, and faculty seamlessly. It fosters thought-provoking discussions that fuel critical thinking and creativity. Students can easily cite and share AI-assisted work. Professors can gain insights into individual and group AI usage.
Knowledge can be shared in multiple ways on BoodleBox by leveraging group chats, incorporating your own documents, and sharing chat folders.

Links to BoodleBox chats, bots, and folders can be shared in any LMS or via email or text.
You may monitor and assess students’ progress and group participation through the following mechanisms:
Folders: You can see each student’s total chats, prompts, messages, and bots when contributing individually or within a group setting.
Chats: You may review each students individual and group chats within the folder to better assess the process of their AI use.
Adding Folders & Chats to Knowledge: You may add any folder or chat to your knowledge bank and request any AI bot to identify learning gaps, participation gaps, and assess how the students are meeting your identified learning objectives.
You can use BoodleBox to apply rubrics to assignments using AI.

The platform offers customizable plans for students and professors, with pricing starting at $16/user/month for unlimited access by higher education and further discounts for annual or bulk (250+ seat) purchases. If you are looking to purchase BoodleBox for a Class, Department, or Institution, we are happy to provide a quote.
CIO/CTO FAQs
To use BoodleBox, you will need a compatible device with internet access. You are responsible for acquiring and updating the device, software, operating system, carrier, and network access necessary to properly access and use BoodleBox. We do not guarantee that BoodleBox will function on any particular device, software, or network.
BoodleBox employs industry-leading security practices like encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, audits, and SOC 2 compliance. When using third-party AI models, prompts are anonymized so they cannot be connected to individuals.
The organization undergoes independent third-party assessments to test security and compliance controls as well as annual independent third-party penetration tests. Employees undergo security awareness training covering industry standard practices, sign confidentiality agreements and are subject to background checks.
Services are hosted with AWS, which employs a robust security program with multiple certifications. Data is hosted on AWS databases located in the United States. All databases are encrypted at rest. Applications encrypt in transit with TLS/SSL only.
Additionally:
- Vulnerability scanning and active threat monitoring are performed.
- Active monitoring and logging of various cloud services.
- Backup services are used to reduce data loss risk.
- A process for handling information security events is in place.
- Access to cloud infrastructure is limited to authorized employees.
- The principle of least privilege is followed.
- Quarterly access reviews are performed.
- Minimum password requirements and complexity are enforced.
- Annual risk assessments are conducted.
- Vendor risk is assessed before authorizing new vendors.
As integration is not part of BoodleBox, no support is provided. We are, however, always helpful to provide additional information and answer questions. Please send a message to [email protected] and we will respond within 4 business hours.
We do not offer customization at this time.
We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent. We process your information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so. The BoodleBox privacy policy can be found here.

Privacy and Security
BoodleBox employs industry-leading security practices to keep customer data safe. When using third-party AI models, prompts are anonymized to protect user privacy. BoodleBox does not train AI models, so your data will never be used by BoodleBox to train an AI model. If you use a BoodleBox controlled model (such as LLAMA3), then your data never leaves the control of BoodleBox. If you use a third-party model (such as one by OpenAI or Anthropic), then your prompts are provided to the third-party API, but anonymized so they cannot be connected to you as an individual.
BoodleBox collects name and email information, platform usage statistics, as well as voluntary information shared via surveys.

BoodleBox Terms of Service including the following provision:
BoodleBox is committed to complying with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99), a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. To the extent that boodleAI has access to student education records, it is deemed a “school official” under FERPA and will comply with the Act’s requirements regarding the use and redisclosure of personally identifiable information from education records. boodleAI will use education records only for the purpose of fulfilling its duties and providing services to the educational institution. It will not share such data with or disclose it to any third party except as provided for in the agreement with the educational institution, as required by law, or as authorized in writing by the educational institution or the student. boodleAI will provide appropriate training to its employees regarding their responsibilities under FERPA and will maintain appropriate safeguards to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of education records.
