The Opportunity

We’re seeking a User Engagement Manager (UEM) to join our growing team and focus on energizing and activating BoodleBox’s end users—especially students. This role is fully remote (with a company hub in Colorado Springs, CO).

As a UEM, you will design and deliver communications, programs, and resources that help students, faculty, and staff understand, adopt, and maximize BoodleBox in their daily learning and teaching. You’ll own the individual user experience by encouraging activation through ongoing engagement, ensuring every user sees the value of BoodleBox from day one.

The Main Mission

You’ll lead scaled engagement strategies that inspire students, faculty, and staff to thrive on BoodleBox. You will compliment the institutional partnerships built by Customer Success Managers by focusing on the individual user experience – designing pathways, campaigns, and ambassador programs that activate users and keep them engaged long-term.

What You’ll Do

  • User Engagement Programs: Design and execute campaigns that activate and engage students, faculty, staff, and workforce users.
  • Ambassador Programs: Build and support student and faculty ambassador communities that champion BoodleBox on their campuses.
  • Adoption Journeys: Map, test, and refine clear user pathways from sign-up to confident use, reducing time to value.
  • Resource Creation: Develop content such as tutorials, best practices, and spotlight stories that make the platform approachable and inspiring.
  • Feedback Loops: Collect and analyze user insights, sharing them with Product, Success, and Marketing to influence roadmap and messaging.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Use metrics to measure impact, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure consistent messaging and a unified user experience.

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in user engagement, community management, product marketing, or customer experience in a SaaS or EdTech environment.
  • Background in higher education, student programs, or learning technology strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver communications that drive adoption and engagement.
  • Experience with tools like HubSpot and other lifecycle engagement platforms is a plus.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills; able to translate product features into student/faculty value.
  • Comfortable analyzing engagement data to inform decisions.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and eager to experiment with new ways to engage users.
  • Passionate about generative AI’s role in education and eager to experiment with it in your own work.
