Step 2: Build Folders

  • Locate the ‘My Folders’ section in the sidebar and click the associated plus sign to open the ‘Add Folder’ dialog box.
  • Insert your course name and select “Add” to create the course’s main folder
    • Example Title: Intro to Marketing
  • Hover over the new course folder and open the three dot menu to open the folder’s dropdown menu. Select “Add Chat” to create a chat within the folder.
  • Repeat the steps above to create new course folders, subfolders for each lesson, and additional subfolders for each student.

Example Class in BoodleBox

Here is an example of how a class may be built in BoodleBox.

  • A folder was created for the class, the assignment, and the student created a folder of her AI chats that was turned in with her final work product.
  • Assignment details were added at the assignment Folder level

Other ideas to make this engaging:

  • A class wide interactive chat at the course level
  • A tutor chat where students can engage with AI about the syllabus, learning objectives, reading, etc.
    • Add the syllabus, learning objectives, reading materials, or other relevant information to the chat’s knowledge
    • Start a chat with a bot by typing “–instructions” before your instructions to the bot.

Step 3: Share Folders

  • Locate the ‘My Folders’ section in the left sidebar and hover over the course you would like to share.
  • Click the folder’s three dot menu and select “Copy Folder Link”
  • The link will automatically be copied, allowing it to be shared via email, Slack, LMS, or any other messaging platform
